Resources
Impact reports, program resources for families and caregivers, board materials, and team tools — all in one place.
Impact Stories
Our annual and outcomes reports are published each year to share the impact of your support — in plain numbers, real stories, and honest results. Both are downloadable PDFs.
CLS
Jesus
When Jesus first joined our Group CLS program after graduating from school, he was understandably nervous. One of his biggest personal goals was learning to navigate his power chair independently — something he hadn’t had many opportunities to practice before…
Today, Jesus is thriving. He now moves through the building with confidence, takes pride in helping staff with tasks, and navigates public spaces with growing independence and ease. His determination has been incredible to witness and his progress is an inspiration to everyone around him.
Skill Building
Craig and Stefanie
Meet 2 of our amazing Skill Builders! Craig continues to shine at the Vikings, a long-standing collaboration where he’s built confidence, consistency, and real-world work experience. Stefanie is thriving at Kids’ Food Basket, reigniting a partnership that paused during COVID and is now stronger than ever.
Together, their journeys show how renewed connections and long-term relationships help our participants grow, achieve, and move forward.
Residential (HUD / Pioneer Arbour)
Steven
Steven moved into Pioneer Arbour in 2020, after waiting several years and experiencing previous housing options that were not a good fit. Since moving in, Steven has built meaningful connections with his neighbors, who have become friends along the way. He especially appreciates the recent renovation of the laundry area, which is easier for him to access in his wheelchair.
One of Steven’s greatest hopes is to see more apartment communities like Pioneer Arbour, so others in the community have access to a safe, accessible, affordable place to call home.
ABA (Autism) Therapy
O’Mir
One skill O’Mir has been focusing on is learning how to wait. To support this, we introduced a token board—a visual tool that helps show how close someone is to earning a preferred item or activity. To make it more meaningful, we personalize token boards around each individual’s interests.
Since O’Mir loves the book Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, we created a Brown Bear–themed token board just for him! Each time he completes a task, he gets to add another picture to the board, helping make progress both visible and motivating.
LARC (Leisure & Recreation Club)
LARC
Our LARC (Leisure & Recreation Club) friends had such fun together at a recent outing to various Little Free Libraries around town, followed by lunch! What joy to watch friendships grow as they look out for one another.
Whether it’s holding a door, helping a friend find a book, keeping track of belongings, or simply saying, “Want to sit by me?”—these small moments mean so much.
Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Casey
Last year Casey transitioned to Gretchen’s Place for a better fit—and the results have been remarkable. With increased support for community engagement, Casey now enjoys cooking at home rather than relying on takeout. He has also become more consistent with his physical therapy.
These changes have led to noticeable improvements in his health, earning praise from both his family and doctors, great work Casey!
Transportation
Cindy & Susan
Cindy has been driving for our Transportation dept for 26 years! For Cindy, one rider we’ll call Susan holds a special place in her heart.
Susan is mostly nonverbal, but over the years she and Cindy have built a wonderful connection filled with trust, laughter, and affection.
Cindy often jokes with Susan, much to her delight. Sometimes when they’re arriving back home, Susan will say, “Beep beep,” her way of asking Cindy to honk the horn when pulling into her driveway. It’s a small moment, but one that always brings a smile. Susan’s family often shares how grateful they are for the relationship Cindy has built with her. It’s a reminder that transportation is about more than getting from place to place, it’s about the connections, trust, and friendships that develop along the way.
