Referral Bonus
Pioneer Resources is always looking for good people and YOU can help! Do you know someone who would be a great addition to Pioneer Resources?
Refer them to us and you may be awarded a referral bonus of $100 (less taxes) upon their completion of their first 30 days of successful employment.
A second referral bonus of $100 (less taxes) will be paid to both you and the referred employee upon successful completion of their 90 day performance review.
Employees must refer candidates to Human Resources using the "referred by" line on the employment application.

Training
New Hire Orientation and Transportation Orientation
- New Employee Orientation
- Supervisors, please register all new hires above to attend New Employee Orientation, using the link above. Orientation takes place at our Wesley location, 1145 Wesley Ave, and the meeting room varies depending on the size of the group but they will be directed by the front desk staff when they check in. Orientation begins at 8:30 am and ends at approx. 9:30am. During times of high risk, orientation may take place via Zoom and staff will be notified.
- Once an new employee is registered, HR will be notified and the new employee will receive a reminder text and/or email. The employee will have the ability to reschedule through this reminder if needed.
- Transportation New Hire Orientation
- Supervisors, please register all Program and Transportation new hires who will be driving an agency vehicle for Transportation New Hire Orientation, using the link above. The orientation will be offered the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month, from 9am – 12pm and will take place at our Transportation Garage, located at 1700 S. Sheridan Dr. in Muskegon.
- All Residential new hires, who will be driving an agency vehicle, please contact Kadin Haddock directly to schedule a more specialized Transportation Orientation.
- Once an new employee is registered, HR will be notified and the employee will receive a reminder text and/or email. The employee will also have the ability to reschedule through this reminder.

CPR/First Aid
Current class capacity is 8 students. To register an employee for CPR/First Aid Training (or to cancel a previous registration), please contact Tracy Kroll at [email protected] or 231.747.0531.

MANDT Training
- To register an employee for MANDT (or to cancel a previous registration), please contact Tracy Kroll at [email protected] or 231.747.0531
- MANDT training will take place in person over the course of one day. Training begins at 8:30AM SHARP and ends at approximately 4:30pm. Third year or later recertifying employees will take the first 3 chapters online (1-3) and will need to arrive at 11:30am for the remainder of the training. If an employee's training is expired, they are considered new!
- MANDT Training Guidelines For Residential Staff
MANDT training will take place in person over the course of one day. Training begins at 8:30AM SHARP and ends at approximately 4:30pm. Third year or later recertifying employees will take the first 3 chapters online (1-3) and will need to arrive at 11:30am for the remainder of the training. If an employee's training is expired, they are considered new! - Tracy will register staff for on line E-Learning (when applicable) through MANDT. We will not train Trauma Informed Services, Supervisors will schedule their staff for Trauma Informed Training through Lakeshore Training.
- New Staff Requirements: Chapters 1- 3 (first half of the day) + Chapters 7-9 (second half of the day)
- Staff in their third year or more of Recertification: Chapters 1-3 - Staff can test out + Chapters 7-9 (second half of the day). Staff must have tested out before moving to Chapters 7-9 of the training.
