Careers

Pioneer Resources has a diverse work force and employs people in several capacities. If you are seeking a rewarding position in a mission based organization, we welcome your application.

Residential Support Staff help people achieve their personal goals. They may provide personal care and support to people who live in licensed settings or assist people in their own homes with cooking, housekeeping, budgeting, shopping, socialization, transportation to appointments, and more.

Bus / Van Drivers transport passengers, many with disabilities, in Ottawa or Muskegon County. Pioneer Resources employs drivers who are dependable and reliable and able to work with a diverse population of passengers. Driver qualifications include a safe driving record and a CDL–B with Air Brakes and P and S endorsements.

Custodians perform general custodial tasks for school and offices including a range of floor care tasks.

Food Service Staff work at several different sites operated by Pioneer Resources within the community. Staff greet customers, prepare and serve food, and handle cash and inventory.

Camp Counselors provide leadership for campers and peers and assist campers with activities of daily living. Counselors lead activities such as swimming, challenge courses, archery, arts and crafts, and music. Depending on the camp, they may be expected to stay overnight.
